Hey all! Cookie Exchange was very nice this afternoon. I scaled back my list for the munchies I was going to have out and decided not to overdo it. I made White Wine Strawberry Sangria (aka Mom Juice) , Pomegranate Martinis, Bacon and Cheese Deviled Eggs, Garlicky White Bean Dip with Crudites and Spinach, Bacon and Artichoke Dip with Chips. For my cookies, I made Oatmeal Cinnamon Chip Cookies. Others brought Five Minute Fudge, Peanut Blossoms and Mini Cheesecakes. Everything was delicious, and The Husband was especially pleased with the Mini Cheesecakes – one of his favorite desserts.
No dinner report tonight. Because of the Cookie Exchange, it was a toss-up between take-out or going out, and we opted to go out, something we very rarely do with all six of us. We ended up hitting a favorite buffet of The Husbands’ and it was a new one for The Neighbors to visit, so everyone was happy.
Okay, on with Weekend Dog Blogging #18.
