This is the third year of my food and drink decorate Christmas tree in the kitchen. I would say it might be one of my favorite traditions of the holiday season, but who am I kidding? I am pretty fond of them all.
So instead of a traditional Weekend Photos in Review post tonight, it’s all about the tree.
Some of my favorite ornaments from the past two years have been:
This one I grabbed at the after-Christmas clearance sale last year. Mostly because I couldn’t bear to pay $9.00 full price.
Another new one, and appropriate for Mystic and I since we spend so much time at our favorite dine-in movie theater:
This one was a gift from Sarah:
And the tree in its glory. I toyed with the idea of making our “main” tree a food and drink themed tree, but I got vetoed by Nick. Something about the fact that “normal” people don’t have those types of trees. I did ask who got to define what normal was and I might have received a big sigh in return. Since he put our main tree together by himself, and did all the decorating, I am not complaining one bit.
If you happen to see any food or drink ornaments, please let me know. So far, the pickins’ have been super slim.
I owe you the butter product post. Might work out to be a double post night coming up this week. Time got away from me this weekend. Hope yours was an awesome one.
xoxo

My mom has been getting me all the Hallmark baking ornaments. She said she wants me to have a baking tree for my kitchen…I think I agree with her! Love the cupcake tower ornament. The hallmark ornament this year is cookies on a baking rack. There is also another one with a snowman coming out of a measuring cup. Super cute!
I may or may not have picked you up something when I came across it this weekend. :) You’ll have to wait till Saturday to find out, though!
Macy’s had cupcakes this past Saturday and they were 50% off.

Sur la table has some great food ornaments & they are on sale right now! http://www.surlatable.com
those ornaments are great!
Love the food- and drink-themed tree! Such a cute idea. I’ve actually toyed with the idea of a small dessert-themed tree because I have so many cupcake and cake ornaments.
I love this tree, Cate. There are some adorable cupcake ornaments on Amazon.
