Made some progress on the mess that is my dining room table. All of Madeline’s stuff for the first four years is officially in an album. Onward!

Today’s hike included taking the dog pictured here, Bluebell, out. She is currently in a shelter, waiting to be adopted. Did my heart good to get her out for some fresh air and exercise, but man, was it ever hard to bring her back.

Nick was having a rough time on Friday night and wasn’t home, so I put up a silly picture on Instagram to make him laugh and cheer him up.

It doesn’t look especially comfortable, but that’s how Merry slept last night.

Eight degrees on Friday, but it was a positively balmy 30 today!

Lord have mercy…..the fat…..I just lost 30 pounds and have 30 more to go. So gross!

My 12 year old is on Instagram, as a compromise because he’s dying for Facebook. Sticking to the 13 year old rule. Instagram is fun and easy thus far. But, I monitor everything he does!

Congrats on the 30 lbs – that’s awesome! Luckily Nick, so far, has no interest in facebook. I think Instagram is good for this age, and it’s fun to see what he’s up to when he’s not with me. And like you, monitoring is key. I can’t believe Carter is 12 already!

You are a workout rockstar! I’m still struggling to get my routine back, but I’ll get there. The fat is seriously disgusting! Eeeewwww!
