Tickling the Funny Bone

When I was organizing my linens the other day, the packaging on these napkins caught my eye and cracked me up. Prego Napkins? Could they not have come up with something a little better?
(and yes, I know it’s really spelled Preggo, but work with me here)

does prego mean please in Italian — if so I must have said “please use your napkin” to my kids hundreds of times over the years, so the name prego kind of works for me if I am translating it right

Sarah - glad you got the humor in it. The Neighbor Wife said I’ve lost my mind.
FJK - I should know what it means, but I don’t. After typing that, I stopped to go look it up. Two translation sites said it means “I pray.”

I don’t know if it is slang, but in Italian, prego sometimes means please, sometimes thank you and maybe even pass the commercial tomato sauce (I made that last one up in honor of Prego sauce)

But I sometimes felt I had a better chance praying the guys would use table manners and napkins so it still fits …
