Conversations with My Kid

Posted by Cate under Convos with My Kid

On the way down the shore this weekend, I promised Nicholas that if we saw any garage sales, we would stop.  I love garage sale season and so does he.  About a half-hour later…

“Mom, look, there’s a garage sale, stop!” he yells excitedly from the backseat.

I look over to where he’s pointing.  “No, honey, that’s not a garage sale.  That’s just a lot of junk in someone’s front yard.”

“Oh,” he said, disappointed.  “I guess they ran out of space inside their house.”

LOL, yup, guess so.
