If you read Sweetnicks in your Google Reader, sorry if it looked a little weird earlier; the photo codes weren’t cooperating.

Saw Emeril lunching in Hoboken this weekend.

My brother-in-law watched my kids for a little while yesterday, and this was his text message to my sister about half an hour in.
The sunsets this weekend were amazing, so you’re forewarned there’s a lot of extra pictures. On the way home from NYC tonight, it took me way longer than usual because I had to keep pulling over to take pictures of the sun setting. I could have watched it forever. Or, you know, as long as it was planning to take to set.

Saturday sunset.

I love the automatic sensor lights at Target.

Love the sun flare in this ad.

When I passed this NYC fire truck the first time, there were five firemen standing on top of it. Three hours later, just the one. No emergency, just hanging out.

Seems like you were in the city a lot this weekend having a fabulous time!
Great pictures! I’ve never been to NYC, but I’ve always thought the Chrysler Building is the most beautiful skyscraper in the world! If I ever do get there, it, along with the Flatiron Building, are on my “must see” list! :)
Love your bokeh sunset shots! I’m obsessed with the effect (and sunsets) myself. Very relaxing and tranquil. Love New York, too — was just there a month ago to see “Newsies” with my sister. So good, and we had such a fabulous time . . . hope to get up there again next year.
