Who are these kids and where did the lemon fascination come from? Madeline was whining the other night at dinner, gesturing frantically for something on my plate. It took me a few minutes to figure out what she wanted … the lemon wedges. I gave her one and as Nick watched her go to town with it, he wanted one too.
She was an instant fan.
Nick not so much.
Confession — I still sometimes put the lemon wedge in my mouth, just for fun. Sometimes you never outgrow.
I can eat limes straight up if they are GOOD limes, but not lemons. Way too tart for me!
I love lemons and salt. But, have to stay away from them because of my blood pressure.
Still will eat them and mine when we go out and they put them on my glass or plate.
I think it’s great that Madeline is so diversified with her palate.
mmmm! Love them!
she is a girl after my own heart! i don’t think that photo can be any cuter!
I love lemons too! In cooking, cleaning, baking and drinks! I even bought a body spray of amber lemon – it was divine!
Mandy – Me? Not so much. No idea where she gets this one from.
MC – Definitely love lemons in cooking and baking … and sprinkling over a finished meal – yum!
KMS – thanks!
Kris – you’re in good company. :)
Ramona – she’s pretty much like a human garbage disposal that way. ;)
Joanne – limes? really? now we know where to send over our extras. :)
