Photo dump from the memory card and an easy night tonight.
Found these at Costco this past weekend in the kosher section. Which makes me think that they may not be available other times of the year, which would kind of suck since they’re quite yummy.
Had two develop two new recipes for clients tonight. This one is an Elvis Had Died and Gone to Heaven cupcake. Banana cupcake with maple buttercream frosting, drizzled with maple syrup and topped with crispy bacon. Ah-mazeballs.
I was pretty stoked at how it came out, and as you can see, Nick was a fan too.
Of course, you know when I saw this I had to take a picture. I would love to put a photo book together with all our heart-shaped lovelies in it. Would make an awesome coffee table book or shower gift, no?
We made quick rounds in the neighborhood to drop off some of the cupcakes and Nick took this picture on the way home. Nothing like a perfectly gorgeous sunset to end the day.
And the second recipe I worked on tonight. Little ham, double cheese egg cups. Perfect for a grab-and-go bite.
Alright folks, with that, I’m outta here. Might pop in between now and Sunday, we’ll see how it goes. If I don’t, have a superfantabulous weekend!
xoxo
the mousse cups will probably be around. kosher has nothing to do with the jewish new year!! glad to see another good costco find!
Absolutely, but I’m pretty sure that the kosher aisle is only at Costco during this time of year. Just means the hunt will be on afterwards. ;)
Nice heart! Feel free to share it and any others at http://www.facebook.com/heartsinunlikelyplaces
Signed: a fellow heart-lover :)
That cupcake sounds interesting…something fun to try. I think that you should make a book of sunsets, too. :-)
Oooh, excellent idea!
Was your “client” perhaps my stomach? cause those both look awesome!
Hope you have a great weekend, Cate!
where are the recipes for the egg cups. they look like something I can do. LOLOLOL
Those cupcakes sound super fantastic! Except for the fact that I’m a vegetarian, I’d dig in!
Love the look of those cupcakes and those egg bites… hope you’ll be sharing those recipes at some point!
love that sunset photo… Nick has your eye for photography!
