Through photos.
Words.
And recipes.
It’s a lot of what makes me who I am.
I am also a divorced mom of two young kids, a 14-year-old son, Nicholas, and a nine-year-old daughter, Madeline.
I started this blog way back in 2005, when my oldest was just a little one, as a way to document his childhood and the family meals I was making in my kitchen. Slowly and steadily, the blog has grown from there and parlayed itself into many freelancing opportunities for recipe development, cooking and crafting workshops, and friendships along the way.
My freelancing career allows me to satisfy my love of recipe development, social media, and Instagram. I have worked with Jones Dairy Farm, Cabot Cheese, Betty Crocker, Pillsbury, Cooking Light magazine, Hearst, 3-A-Day Dairy, Parent Society, Babble, iVillage, Yahoo! Finance, SheKnows, Bangor Daily News, Captain Morgan, and many more.
I believe in meeting deadlines, the power of social media, laughter, caffeine, raising happy and confident kids, bad tv, and chasing beautiful sunsets. #sunsetchaserforlife
