I love how a simple picture can capture so much. It can totally tell you all about the person, or an emotion or an event with just one little click. This depicts Madeline’s personality to a T. No matter what is going on, she is happy. Whether she gets two nice long naps a day or not. Whether her teeth are bothering her or not. Whether I’m serving her favorite meal or not. I just love her disposition. Happy, carefree, laidback, feet on the table, devil may care.
Sometimes I forget to turn off the flash on the camera, and she’s come to expect it, so every now and again, I get a shot where she is smiling, but closing her eyes, like this one, to avoid the flash. Little monkey.
