March 2012 Goals

This year, I decided that instead of making a list of New Years’ resolutions, I would, instead, break it down into mini lists of achievable monthly goals. And to keep myself even more accountable, I thought it would be good to share them here. While I’m on the topic of mini goals, today marks Day 15 of being Diet Coke free. The last time I quit, I made it to Day 10, so this is good. Mystic is on Day 13. I would like to get to the point where I don’t have to make a conscious decision to not have it, and it just comes naturally. Hopefully that will come with time.

Did you make New Years’ resolutions? And if so, how are you doing? Any mini goals to share with the class?

Tomorrow? A homemade hair mask you can do with ingredients you already have on hand.
Thursday? A ridiculously delicious recipe that has Joanne‘s name written all over it.
Friday? A book review.

Stay tuned.  I’ll be here.

I envy your determination and organization! All my goals for the year are still nebulous, meaning all my goals are still unfinished!

You got a head start on the lawn! All Jake talked about on our way over was the scary halloween stuff – then he couldn’t find it – and all the way home he talked about how it was gone!!

Wait does it LITERALLY have my name on it? As in like…is it something I’ve made? Or will I just love it? I’m excited. I probably won’t sleep in anticipation. Not that I sleep lately anyway. But that’s a whole other issue.

I like the idea of mini goals. My goal for March (weight loss-wise) is to be fewer pounds than I was when the month started. And life-wise. I want to get to a fourth date (at least with someone). February got me to a third…had to start over, but aiming for a fourth.

Why did you decide to go Diet Coke free? I recently switched to diet Pepsi to cut out the extra calories in my diet and I am curious. I do tend to drink a lot of water and limit myself to no more than 2 a day but I always wonder when people cut it out completely what their reasoning is.
