My kids are grazers. Both of them. And are most uninterested in actual meals. When Nick was younger, I mentioned it to his pediatrician. I wasn’t concerned, but was asking if she had tips. And she responded, “Some people are grazers. Some adults are grazers. It’s fine.”
And so it was.
It’s just the way they are, and while they are not always (but sometimes) keen on sitting down for a big meal, as long as they’re getting enough of the necessary food groups into their little bellies by the end of the day (and they are), then that has to be good.
Now, of course, you can totally be a bad grazer, and graze on crap or pure processed junk during the day.
This is totally not that.
Because that is bad. Period.
>Small snacks. Mostly healthy. Largely good for you. Pretty unprocessed.
That’s the kind of snacking we condone.
So when the Clever Girls Collective wanted volunteers to review their new Green Giant Veggie Chips, I said yes.
But of course.
Particularly since te ranch and bbq flavors are favorites of my kids.
Ok, really just one kid and me.
But that counts, right?
What I like most about these chips? All the veggies that are packed into them. They won’t replace your daily require vegetable intake, but they certainly will beef it up some. And those whole fibers the chips have? Even better.
The chips are very crispy (and crispier, actually, than your average potato chip), and have a great crunch. Lightly flavored in that perfect where you can tell what the flavor is, but it’s not overpowering you.
And the kids? Thumbs up from both of them. Which means this fun, new-to-the-chip-aisle, snack will make its way into their lunchboxes here and there.
Go get yourself some.
