1 cup butter, softened
2 cups brown sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 (12 oz) bag chocolate chips
Cream the butter and brown sugar together. Add the eggs, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Stir in flour and oatmeal, then add the chocolate chips. Mold the mixture into 1-1/2 inch balls (I used a small ice cream scoop) and place on a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 350F for about 11 minutes.
Makes 44 2-inch cookies.
