Got the new Giada DeLaurentiis cookbook, Everyday Italian yesterday, and I am loving it. Plenty of color pictures throughout, the book does not disappoint. Organized in a concise, easy manner, the recipes are simple and straightforward. Planning on making her Clams Oreganato tonight, along with her White Bean Dip with Seasoned Pita Chips and amazing OMG Mussels with Cognac Cream Sauce. Of course, will have lots of hot, crusty bread to mop up the glorious sauce from the mussels. It’s gonna be a good eatin’ night tonight! :)
Thanks for your comment on my blog, and thanks too for reviewing this book. I really enjoy Giada’s show and this book is definitely on my list of mist-buys. Unfortunately (sort of) I just got a couple of BIG cookbooks I need to spend some time with before I purchase anything new!
Hey Katie — that’s very responsible, waiting to get through your new cookbooks before you buy any more. But no fun! I tend to buy them when I see them, because I’m afraid I’ll forget about them otherwise, either that or they get added to my never-ending Amazon Wish List! Just took your Banana Bread out of the oven and it smells delish! Just made one small change … haven’t had any yet, but will review it tomorrow. Thanks for the recipe!
