Happy Hump Day (aka The Husband Cooks Wednesdays)

Somewhere along the way this week, I’ve lost track of days and thought yesterday was Wednesday – what a disappointment that was!

Usually today is The Husband Cooks Wednesdays, but I gave him the night off. He cooked three times last week, and has a big help lately, it was the least I could do. ;) Might be a clean out the freezer night, might be a take-out night … still undecided and since it’s 6 pm and I’m still at the office, I’m running out of time! Worst case, I ran to Costco at lunchtime (just in case they got in new cookbooks), and bought a Greek Salad and some Chicken Wraps, which might do quite nicely.

DSL not working at home and Verizon is maintaining that the DSL modem has gone bad and shipped me a new one. I’m going to try and (gasp!) hook the computer back up for dial-up so we have something in the meantime, but hate being without a computer…Besides updating this site, we both use the computers at home for work, and you never realize how much you rely on it until there’s a problem. Ugh.

As promised, I posted the Chocolate Macaroon Bar recipe I made Sunday night. I started a new heading on my sidebar where you’ll be able to go when you want a specific recipe I’ve referenced/made. It will be in alphabetical order, so it should make it easy for everyone, including me (since sometimes I come here looking for a recipe I made too!). Given I’ve had this site for nearly 8 months now, there are over 200 recipes to add the info for, so bear with me.

It’s been raining non-stop since Sunday night, and pretty soon I think we’re going to have to build an ark. It’s a perfect stay-at-home and snuggle with the kids kinda night. And if you’re without kids, grab a nice warm blanket and snuggle with your honey. On that note, The Husband and I are BOTH taking off tonight, so very short post.
