Weekend Dog Blogging #18

by Cate on January 23, 2006

Hey all! Cookie Exchange was very nice this afternoon. I scaled back my list for the munchies I was going to have out and decided not to overdo it. I made White Wine Strawberry Sangria (aka Mom Juice) , Pomegranate Martinis, Bacon and Cheese Deviled Eggs, Garlicky White Bean Dip with Crudites and Spinach, Bacon and Artichoke Dip with Chips. For my cookies, I made Oatmeal Cinnamon Chip Cookies. Others brought Five Minute Fudge, Peanut Blossoms and Mini Cheesecakes. Everything was delicious, and The Husband was especially pleased with the Mini Cheesecakes – one of his favorite desserts.

No dinner report tonight. Because of the Cookie Exchange, it was a toss-up between take-out or going out, and we opted to go out, something we very rarely do with all six of us. We ended up hitting a favorite buffet of The Husbands’ and it was a new one for The Neighbors to visit, so everyone was happy.

Okay, on with Weekend Dog Blogging #18.

Thanks for the roundup!
Eli and Harley’s poses are surprisingly similar, though Eli looks a bit more wide-eyed.

oops, that’s not Lady from Live, Laugh, Love…that’s Barbie! Sorry, I know it’s confusing.

Thanks for hosting WDB, it’s always fun to see the pics!

Sorry, Karen – forgot there was more than one pup in your house – fixed now. ;)

Jen – yup, the big sleeping dog pose is pretty popular with Eli. ;)

Thanks for getting Pepper in! Did you figure out what was going on with the email?

Hey, by the way, I have drop-down menus just the way I like ’em now!!!

Cyndi – no idea why I didn’t get the e-mail, but when I saw your comment about it, I went to your site to grab the pic. :)
