OK folks, short post tonight, since I have to turn in the internet cables in a bit. We arrived in Key West today at 3 and they finally let us off the ship at 4. It was actually nice to be here to see all the evening Key West Sunset festivities, and we also got a chance to explore other areas that we missed when we were here on Monday. Not that, of course, we wouldn’t have preferred to have been in the Cayman Islands yesterday as scheduled, but it is as it is. All in all, a good vacation, but it’s always nice to go home.
Tune in tomorrow for more details on what we did in Key West today, including our taste of REAL Key Lime Pie, our Cuban dinner, Sunset Cakes, a picture round-up of today’s treasures and lastly, all the pictures from last night’s Midnight Gala Buffet from the ship.
Until then, Weekend Dog Blogging is back in full effect, so remember to send me your cutest canine pics for inclusion in my Sunday night round-up. I have two extra pictures of dogs we met while vacationing, one from Key West today and another from Cozumel, Mexico.
In the meantime, cross your fingers that we can get on an earlier flight tomorrow morning … we’re trying to get in before the reported 1 foot of snow expected in New Jersey. Talk about a welcome home!
You guys always get to go on fabulous trips! I’m so jealous!! Have so much fun…and can’t wait to drool over Key Lime Pie updates :)
Have a safe trip home. We’re supposed to get a butt-load of snow up this way and even more in your neck of the woods. But if you had to be stuck somewhere, Key West is a place I would be able to stand. hehe
Thanks, Mona. :) Key West and Mexico were both on my list of places I wanted to visit, so I can finally cross those off the list. ;)
Biscuit Girl – the weather in Key West, both times, was absolutely gorgeous. I could definitely handle being stranded there for a few days. ;)
