Hey all, just one more day and the week is over. Say it with me … whoo-hoo! It’s been a rough one, and I’m glad it’s coming to a close. ‘Sides it just means we’re that much closer to our vacation!!
No dinner report tonight. Nobody was home. :) So, tomorrow will be a belated edition of my Rediscovering My Library segment. I had the menu all planned for tonight, but it will keep until tomorrow.
Now onto the other regular event for Thursdays … this week’s nod for New (to Me) Blogger on the Block Thursdays goes to Two Foot Kitchen. Becky’s a food blogger from Nevada who’s been blogging for a little over a year now. I love her spunk and zest for life, and it doesn’t hurt that she loves Creme Brulee as much as we do. And since she just celebrated her birthday, it fits nicely into the birthday theme we seem to have fallen into this week. Whether it’s her Grilled Sage, White Cheddar and Pear Sandwiches, her Tiki Party menu or her Lemon-Ricotta Pancakes with Honey, you’ll find something yummy cooking in her kitchen. Whatever way you look at it, I just had to see her lusting after a hot pink kitchen scale to know she was my kinda gal. Go check out her site when you get a chance.
All for tonight … it’s going to be a busy weekend as our departure time for our vacation time is fast approaching (just whose idea was it for our vacation to start at 6:30 am?!). I have exciting things planned for next week, including a Guest Husband hosting The Husband Cooks Wednesdays… and, of course, starting Sunday, you can play along with my version of “Where in the World is Sweetnicks?”
Until tomorrow…
P.S. For Weekend Dog Blogging participants, since I will be away, Alicat from Something So Clever has graciously agreed to guest host and will be adding her own special twist. E-mail your permalinks for this week only to her at somethingsoclever01@gmail.com. The “cutest doggy pic” from a USA residing participant will win a copy of “Winnie the Pooh’s Cookie Book” by A.A. Milne. Send her your permalink by Sunday night, 9 pm, to be included in the round-up. I’ll resume hosting as usual the following weekend.
Hey, thanks!
why only bloggers residing in america? What about americans residing in canada who have US address?
