Whew – another week done. Nicholas has Friday Night Date Night at The Girlfriend’s house tonight, and The Husband is out of town on business, so I’ve had a few hours of peace and quiet in the house all to myself … ahhhh. I’ve been trying to organize the mess that is my home office, and it’s going to become my weekend activity. Between The Husband and Nicholas fighting for space in here too, it’s getting a little chaotic, to say the least.
No exciting dinner report tonight, as I just had leftover Penne with Vodka Sauce from Tuesday … mmm, still just as good.
Now dinner might not have been exciting, but self-proclaimed Food Network addicts like myself might find this announcement exciting. I’m not so sure about Paula’s sons getting their own show, cute as they might be, but I am THRILLED that Nigella is coming! Years ago, we had DISH Network and her show was on the Style channel, and I watched it religiously. Once we moved here, we switched to DirectTV, and they don’t have Nigella or the Style channel and … sniff, sniff … I’ve been without her show for over four years now (although we can get it when we go down the shore)! Now we just have to wait until September to have her back. I think Alton’s new show, as well as Bobby Flay’s, sound like fun too. So many shows, so little time …
Alright folks, all for tonight. Off to fetch my munchkin from his girlfriends’ house. Until tomorrow… the weekend events are upon us.

Oh I loved watching Nigella too on the style network. Same thing happened when I moved (no style network) :( I watched a biography type program about her just recently, and I had no idea she was a widow! So pretty, she is.

Maddie – always glad to meet another Nigella fan! She remarried a few years ago, but a shame that she was widowed so early on, especially a shame for the kids…
