October is quickly winding to a close, and November is nearly upon us. One more roundup of pink things to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All of the below items donate a portion of their proceeds to support cancer research, so you can feel doubly good about your pink purchases.
Typhoon has a line of vintage pink kitchen accessories that are just too cute to resist, including colanders, sugar canisters and pitchers.
Bialetti Shop has a few pink kitchen products, including a pots and pans set and an espresso maker.
Sur La Table gets in on the action with adorable ‘O’ chardonnay glasses, and Smith and Hawken has a cute pink tote bag, among other items.
Amazon has a hot pink carafe that has found its way into my shopping cart (a must have, don’t you think?) and even Campbell’s Soup has added pink to their line of soups, featuring a pink-labeled Chicken Noodle Soup ($250,000 in sales from this go directly to Breast Cancer Awareness).
The pink soup cans are a limited edition, but I’m crossing my fingers that I can find a few cans at the store tomorrow. It’s been a-g-e-s since I bought canned soup, but this is certainly a good enough reason.
All for tonight. Tomorrow, The Neighbors are coming over for dinner. We declared it was definitely soup weather and time for this season’s first batch of Cheeseburger Soup. I hear The Neighbor Husband was inspired by the cracker debate post the other day and has found a suitable appetizer. Tune in tomorrow to see what else hits the table. Until then…
A year ago today … Halloween festivities begin.
Cate, thanks again for highlighting pink products during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Such a wonderful reminder of all the little things we can do to help.
Wow! That pink carafe is calling my name too!
