One of the Christmas presents I got from my sister and brother-in-law was this new thing called the Food Loop. This was the first time I had ever seen this, and it’s meant to take the place of string or toothpicks in your kitchen. I used it for a roast chicken last weekend and it worked liked a charm.

That maybe the coolest thing I’ve seen… at least in a couple of weeks! I’ve never cooked anything I had to “tie up” – I never remember that I need twine when I’m out shopping.
You should get some kind of referral fee… I’ll be heading out today and have every intention of picking one up :)
I have them too, and I don’t like them that well – they’re not great for small items. I made a chicken with a lemon glaze and the sweet glaze burned onto the ties and I could never get them clean. The good thing is that they don’t take up much room in the kitchen!
