ARF/5-A-Day #72

by Cate on May 30, 2007

So I had my ARF/5-A-Day menu all planned for tonight… then we had a last-minute appointment at dinnertime, and I had to shelve my plans. Table for Two serves up a Barefoot Contessa favorite, Shrimp and Orzo (with tomatoes and cucumbers) – perfect for warm weather dining.

Cook. Craft. Enjoy. starts the weekend off right with Fresh Cherry Scones:

Newcomer A Most Peculiar Gray joins us this week with the uber-healthy Palak Paneer. I’ve never attempted to make it at home, but have enjoyed it at an Indian restaurant we like.

Another newcomer, the Midwest Mavens Misadventures in Cooking, serves up her Every Berry Smoothie, packed with antioxidant goodness:

Cate – I made blueberry muffins for ARF/5 a day, but forgot that we’re 3 hours apart! They’re good, anyway.

What a great round-up. I must admit, that I’ve never had palak paneer but it sounds interesting. Can’t wait to see what you were planning!
