Get thee to a Whole Foods store near you. Seriously. Because that’s where these addicting babies are sold.
A discovery from yesterday’s food show, Krinkle Sticks are baked potato snacks with a paltry three grams of fat per single-serving bag, which is a good thing since I have nearly demolished mine already. Seventy-five percent less fat than potato chips and no trans-fatty acids, they are also gluten-free, cholesterol free and contain no preservatives or artificial flavors. See? I told you this is a snack you can feel good about.
They come in a variety of flavors, including Classic Sea Salt (my current addiction of choice), Sour Cream and Onion, Old School Bar-B-Que and Cajun Kaboom. They are made by the folks at LesserEvil. Go on – go pick up a bag of your very own. You’ll be glad you did.
P.S. If there’s no Whole Foods near you, fear not. You can order them online as well.
We just tried these tonight they remind me too much of those over-processed ground up potato chips I won’t name here. They have a nice crunch but the resemblance to potatoes or even potato chips is minimal. I still feel guilty.
