So today was MY big day as I turned 37, and upped the scoreboard to Nicholas 2, Cate 2. Do I feel older? Nah. Unless it ends in a zero, I don’t think it’s any big deal, except, of course, 18 or 21, and we left those numbers in the dust long ago. Nicholas and I broke our routine and headed out for breakfast this morning. I decided I wanted eggs for breakfast, and I wanted someone ELSE to make them for me. Lunch was out with Mom, and dinner satisfied a craving for Indian food. It’s been ages since we had take-out from our favorite Indian restaurant (Begum Palace in Madison), and The Husband gladly drove down to pick it up. Beyond that, a fairly uneventful day and these days, that’s just the way I like it. I am exhausted though and settling down to catch up on my Tivo while the boys are out swimming.
Although I didn’t participate in tonight’s ARF/5-A-Day, other food bloggers came to my rescue and served up plenty of inspiration.
