So the week is almost over … I thought we’d forget about food for a minute (as if!) and have a little fun. It’s been awhile since we had a cute shoes post. This weekend, The Husband and I went to a wedding and I was on the hunt for a new pair of shoes. I wasn’t successful and, of course, I couldn’t find quite what I was looking for, but I did manage to come away with these nonetheless. Aren’t they cute? So go on, spill it. A year ago today… sigh … he doesn’t yet know it, but this restaurant, one of Nicholas’ favorites, closed down. Must investigate other locations. Fingers crossed.

I recently dared to step through the doors of The Red Shoe in my home town, and walked out with a pair of platform flip flops from Cole Haan, with, get this, integrated Nike Air technology. Cost a pretty penny, but worth every one!
Still not better than cake, though.

The Cole Haans are so comfy! I have worn them with practically everything for a month. Think about what I will need to replace them for a ND winter . . .
