There has been some hard work behind the Sweetnicks‘ scenes recently, getting recipes up into the Recipes section of my site. I finally got all the new recipes I made in November and December 2006 loaded for your cooking pleasure. I know, I know, I’m still a bit behind, but now there’s a semi-system in place so we’ll be caught up before you know it.
In the meantime, there were a lot of great recipes made in those two months, so you might want to check them out. Here are just a few to get you started:
Beef Wellington Burgers – Loved the addition of pate and cornichons on this one. Just might need to do one or two more grilling sessions soon to usher out summer weather.
Short Ribs with Chinese Flavor – Packed with flavor and could not be simpler to make. Go on and dust off your slow cooker. You’ll be glad you did.
Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil Salad – Another great recipe to finish up the last of your juicy summer-ripe tomatoes. And if you need more tomato inspiration, Kalyn’s Kitchen has been doing a week-long event on different ways to get through your tomato bounty.
The Ultimate Greek Salad – This one comes from the wonderfully poetic Nigella Lawson and is a slight diversion from traditional Greek salads, but no less delicious.
