The first Christmas that The Husband and I were together, I started a tradition with Danielle. Growing up, we were always allowed to open one present on Christmas Eve, so I took that one step further, and the present Danielle opened became pajamas every year. It’s a favorite tradition that has stuck with us now some 12+ years later, and now includes, of course, Nicholas and Madeline.
I got a head start on wrapping presents tonight while I gave The Husband picture duty after the pajama presents were opened. Well, you see what happens when I do that (fuzzy pictures!). ;) And once Madeline discovered that Danielle’s pajama top lit up, well, all bets were off.

How interesting, another friend of ours told me that his whole family always got new pajamas every Christmas.
