This Wednesday, we are definitely not wordless. In fact, we’re all about the words this go ’round.
This little monkey said her first full sentence over the weekend.
“No more, Mama.”
Said when she thought she was done with a bath. She stood up and announced “No more, Mama.”
Said when she had enough of an all-out tickle war. “No more, Mama!”
Said when she was done with her dinner. “No more, Mama.”
It cracks me up every time she says it. And who knew three simple words could have so many uses?
Her brother, on the other hand, is always full of sentences, words, speeches and noise, but laid a new one on me this weekend.
“Mom, you’re just not on the same page as me.”
Quickly followed by, “you just don’t understand.” Ok then. And seriously? Who are you and when did you turn 15?
Kids … they really do say the darnedest things.

Major congrats to Maddie – a girl who knows what she wants (or doesn’t want in this case) when she wants it!
Awwww, Madeline has a whole grown-up sentence to go with her grown up look. WOW!!
And Nick — That is just too funny.
They grow up fast…so fast.
Ramona
OMG! Nick sounds just like my 7 1/2 year old! Both seem to be heading toward being teenagers much too early!
Thanks a million for visiting Yeebird and leaving a comment! Your site–fabulous! That rainbow cake–amazing! Your kiddos–adorable! I’ll be back to visit soon.
