Now that Nick is a bit older, he has a strict list of chores. Simple things, but chores just the same. Emptying the dishwasher. Clearing the table. Feeding the dog. One of the things he has to do is supervise teeth brushing. When he brushes his teeth, he takes Madeline in the bathroom with him and together they brush and brush and brush. To the tune of the ABCs two times. Or Happy Birthday twice. Whatever vibe they’re feeling at that moment.
To say that Madeline has completely embraced the concept of brushing her teeth over the last few months would be an understatement. This picture is what happens when Nick isn’t quick enough. And random times throughout the day when she feels her teeth just could be a touch cleaner. She climbs onto the toilet to climb into the sink and goes to town on her own. Our little monkey indeed.
At least that means her teeth are super clean! She really is a monkey. Albeit a cute one.
Cute! Does she turn the water on, right on her shirt when she’s done? Mine would! I set him on the counter to help him brush and the first thing he does is turn on the water.
Happy New Year,Cate!
So cute! I miss having little ones around. Happy New Year!
So adorable! I think that’s definitely a good problem to have.
Cutest picture ever!
so cute! Cate I meant to tell you Target has tons of cupcake stuff in the dollar section right now.
Funny. I agree, at least her teeth are clean!
