My mom made these mini cupcake fake-outs as a shower gift – aren’t they cute?
Nick had his annual Scout dinner tonight, where each of the packs move up to the next level, get awards and more. Some of what was on the buffet menu? Penne with red sauce. Chocolate pudding for the kids. Madeline was wearing a white shirt. ‘Nuff said.
It was also the 100th anniversary of the scouts, so they had a special cake at the awards dinner to commemorate the occasion. You see that finger swipe in the frosting on the side? I’ll give you two guesses as to whose finger it is, and the first guess doesn’t count.

I would have totally been that girl swiping her fingers through the cake as well. What can I say? WHen a girl loves frosting…she loves frosting.
OK, that shower gift is so precious! Are there socks or bath towels in the cups? Will so being copying that.

These photos are beautiful. Your dog looks so calm is is marked beautifully. What a sweet photo of your daughter as well. It makes you want to scoop her up and give her a big hug.
