I love a good topping bar. That first burger wasn’t mine, but belonged to a much more restrained friend. This one above? With the obscene amount of toppings? Yeah. Mine.
Jamie came over tonight after a weekend trip to Niagara Falls. She asked me what I did this weekend, and as I rattled off a list (it was a very busy weekend!), I ended with “and I cleaned out the fridge.” “You should take a picture,” she said. Um, yeah, I already did. She knows me too well. I was just so stinkin’ proud at how organized it looked.
And speaking of organized, I also cleaned out this cabinet. Give it a good look, because a week from now it won’t look like this. Why is it so hard to keep it neat?
First dinner outside for the season!
Madeline is telling Callie how bad she’s being. Even the two-year-old knows the cat is not supposed to be on the counter just because the window is open.
One of the things on my To Do list this weekend was to paint the master bedroom. The grey color is a little more in the blue family than the black, but the color looks so good on the walls, and a huge departure from the tan that was currently there. Love it! Wait ’till you see what I do with the ceiling!
I can’t believe you painted your bedroom! I’ve never known anyone to successfully paint a room themselves. Bravo!
Dinner outside and burgers. Sounds like a great weekend,
Topping bars rock!
Looks like a fabulous weekend and eating outside is the best. At my house, we cleaned off the deck furniture a few weeks ago and havent looked back since. For the next several months all big gatherings will take place outside.
Great photos! I love the color that you painted your bedroom. It’s so serene.
Good pictures. The cat wouldn’t be normal if it didn’t check out that open window.
More fun photos from you! I really love these posts each week. That gray-ish blue is a nice relaxing color. Curious to find out what’s happening with the ceiling!
Oh my your kids are cute!!!! Those sweet faces would make any weekend fun!
I know I’ve said it before, but I always enjoy the weekend photo posts! I’ve been really contemplating using the same shade of blue-gray for our bedroom walls, too! It’s sure to be fabulous, once finished!
Pamela – this shade is Behr’s Nature’s Retreat, love it! On the card, it’s definitely more the charcoal end of grey, but on the walls, it’s more blue. It’s amazing how a $20 can of paint can completely transform a room.
Jesse – thank you!
Patsy – thanks! Surprisingly, it did turn out to be a very calming, almost Zen-like color. Can’t wait until it’s all done!
Ramona – haha, you ain’t kidding!
Sarah – thank you!
Mandy – I totally hear you. After the roller coaster winter we had, I’m all for enjoying every second we can outside – hurrah Spring!
Joanne – thanks! Two more bedrooms and the kitchen to go and then I’m done, done, done!
