I love garden surprises. Well, the good ones anyway. I didn’t plant these. They weren’t here last year. But somewhere along the way, they blew in and have taken up residence on the side of the house. There’s a lot of them. Bright. Yellow. Happy. Beautiful. I like.
This was the Before shot.
And now the After shot. Ahhh, much better. I went back and put one more coat on after this, so now they’re even whiter. Fresher. More summery. If you saw a white cloud hovering in the neighborhood, that might have been around the fourth can of spray paint. Quickest way to transform a wicker set that is eight years old. Much better.
Dinner out with the girls Saturday night. One mentioned a craving for Greek Salad, and that was the end of that. I love me some kalamata olives.
Because Nick’s birthday is over the summer, tomorrow he gets to celebrate it in school. Chocolate cupcakes? Check. Chocolate frosting? Check. Dolphin sprinkles? Check and check.
Guess who got to try one tonight?
I love garden surprises, too. Moving around a lot helps with that. Such a sweet little touch of God.
Mmmm Greek food with the girls sounds awesome. I’ve been craving some spinach and feta.
Those cupcakes look awesome and Maddie’s face – priceless.
WOW, one cupcake did all that? what did her shirt look like. IM AMAZED. lololol
The chair looks great!
My favorite greek salad is from Alexis Diner – have you ever had it? mmmm! And chicken souvalaki (sp?) platter from the West Side Diner (for breakfast it’s the best!)
Love Miss Chocolate face!
LOL…how did she get it all over her face…..
Ramona – I let her go to town since I knew a dunk in the bathtub was coming up right after. :)
Kris – Haven’t been to the Alexis Diner in forever – now will have to go again! Have had lunch at West Side once – need to go back. Love diners.
Chris – yup, just one. Surprisingly, not a speck on her shirt.
Joanne – alright, now you have ME craving some spanokopita!
Casey – what a great way of looking at it. :)
