Sometimes, after I download the photos from the weekend, it’s an easy pick for which photo gets the top spot. This weekend, it was all set to go to the number 2 photo below, until I spied Sadie making this little scrunch face. She is the first of the four kids (mine and my sister’s) to make the scrunch face, and it just about kills me. Like sign-me-up-for-another-round-of-babies-kills-me. So Miss Sadie and her scrunch face get the top spot this weekend.
And speaking of the weekend, another crazybusy one. Friday night was dinner with The Neighbors and pool time for the kids. Saturday was a trip to Bobby Flay’s Burger Palace with an old friend (review coming this week) and a visit to a new cupcake place (review also coming this week). Sunday was the birthday celebration trifecta, where Nick squeezed in yet another birthday celebration for his birthday (next week), I kicked off my own birthday week, and we celebrated my mom’s a week late. And then company for dinner tonight. Phew. Bring on the work week for a little normalcy and routine!
(can you tell we hit the farmer’s market today?)
These two year olds kill me. I don’t want to use a flash when I take their picture (would prefer the softer, more natural lighting), but the problem is, then it’s a fuzzier picture (like this one), because they move around so much. Forget when there’s two of them together.
With the flash, I can get a better shot like this, wiggles and all, but see how different the lighting is? Only difference was flash vs. no flash.
One more scrunch shot for good measure:
That scrunch face is the cutest! And those two little two year olds are going to get you guys into trouble someday…they’re too cute!
great pics!
Can’t wait to see the reviews, especially on the burgers. I never heard of his burger place until I was watching The Best Thing I Ever Ate on food network and it was burgers and his was picked as one. Promptly looked up the restaurant and bookmarked it for a future visit.
The best burger my hubby ever ate is the Breakfast Burger from Jefferson Diner – cheeseburger with fried egg on top. mmmm, mmmmm!
What an adorable scrunch face! Happy Birthday week!
Cute pictures as usual.
I totally agree. Was off on Thurs and Fri. Had to come to work to rest.
That is the cutest scrunch face I’ve ever seen in my life!
