This is the last shot of our weekend, and she looks like I feel. I wish if I fell asleep, someone would carry me upstairs, in the pouring rain, from the car.
Two hour Zumba fundraiser Friday night. And birthday dinner celebration here for one of Nick’s friends. Followed by catching up on freelancing deadlines. And pouring myself into bed at 3:30 Saturday morning.
A million errands Saturday, followed by a three mile walk and dinner for 10 Saturday night and two kids sleeping over. Kids that went to bed after 2:30 am. Which is when I finally gave up. Kids who got up at 6:30 am this morning. Ack.
Birthday party Sunday afternoon, followed by a celebration dinner.
Kids are bathed and in bed, and I am right behind them, operating on a bad case of sleep deprivation and a need to be one with my bed and the Tivo remote. I need a weekend to recover from my weekend. But good times, people, good times. Hope yours was much of the same.

This was Madeline’s first experience in the theater, and she did an awesome job. Also her and Nick’s first introduction to Pippi Longstocking. Oh how I loved Pippi growing up. Now I’m going to need to hunt down some Pippi Longstocking books for bedtime reading.
We ordered 7 pizzas for the table, and as soon as we saw the goat cheese one on the menu, it was a given. My friend, Joan, looked up after the first bite and asked, “We can make this, right?” We most certainly can.
Ha! That is apparently how I felt when I returned home from 30 hours of work with no sleep on Saturday. I slept from 1p-9p! Then again from 1145-730 the next morning. 16 hours out of 19! Hope you get caught up on your rest. The pizza sounds delicious!
LUV the kitty picture. Frame-worthy!
Whoa your weekend was INSANE! I think you might need a week-long vacation after that!
Very busy weekend. We got a lot done despite the pouring rain and cold front that moved thru Mississippi.
Oh, I so often need a weekend to recover from my weekend! This one was no exception. We walked for hours around D.C. on Saturday — hours! my feet! — but had tons of fun. :) Looks like you had a great time, too! Love the colorful photo of the cat in the window!
