On the way to the airport for my recent trip to Atlanta, I admired the driver’s prayer beads and asked if I could take a picture of them. He obliged. When we arrived at the airport, he gave them to me. Such a sweet gesture, but being a horrible flyer, I, of course, wondered if he knew something I didn’t. Thankfully he didn’t.

My sister mentioned ages ago that she reads trashy magazines on her flights. With three flights over the last three months, I have since adopted the practice. And got completely caught up on all my gossip.

The way our schedule was set up, there was no real time to see Atlanta. Luckily since I met Chris from Melecotte Sunday evening, before the conference started, I was able to see a little bit of the downtown.
This church is perhaps best known because Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. preached from the pulpit.
Chris mentioned that this underpass (below) is a popular scene for many video and movie shoots.
When I saw the vast differences, I couldn’t help but put these two pictures side by side. That’s Atlanta on the left. With all the green. New Jersey on the right.
