One of our Summer Bucket List 2011 items was coloring outside with sidewalk chalk. Consider that crossed off the list. I love that a dollar tub of chalk can give my littles so much enjoyment. So much so that I went back and got a few more tubs before they disappear from the Target Dollar Spot. And because the kids tend to forget and sometimes leave them outside in the rain. So I’m hiding the new tubs. Go grab some of your own before they’re gone. It’s a great opportunity to discover your little budding Picassos and Rembrandts.
One quick programming note before I leave you. Are you on Twitter? Come look me up and follow me. My goal is 3,000 followers by my birthday… only a few hundred to go just shy of two weeks away. Of course, 4,100 followers for my 41st birthday is even better. We can do it! I don’t post often on facebook, but I do pop in pretty regularly on Twitter to share bits and bobs about this here exciting life, and I’d love to hang with you there. We can share much laughter, hilarity and food stuffs amongst the 140 character limit.

S’mores Cookie Bar recipe … coming to a blog near you. Soon. Swear. Like maybe even this week.
What gorgeous artwork! Before you know it someone’s going ask to dig up your sidewalk to put it in a gallery. :) Aren’t summer days like this fun? Lucky kids.
Great pics! Evan loves sidewalk chalk too. I love coming home from work to chalk pictures on the walk.
Good luck on your twitter goal…..I already follow you so I’m no help. :)
I would totally follow you if I weren’t already a follower! I used to love sidewalk chalk. I wish it were more socially acceptable for adults to play with it!
My mom would never have let us do that!
