If you’re a regular reader here, or know me or the kids well personally, then you know how enraptured we are with the sky. Sunrise. Sunset. Stars. The moon. Cloud formations. You name it, and we stop and stand in awe of it. So you’ll have to forgive the abundance of sky shots in this weekend’s review. It was just too amazing not to share. From the sun setting Friday night as a girls weekend got underway, to the lights and the dark sky along the Garden State Parkway to an absolutely glorious sunrise that Beth captured Saturday morning, it’s all just a tiny reminder to stop, breathe in and exhale. Deep. The sunset pictures are all completely untouched … that spectacular light show is all courtesy of Mother Nature. Amazing stuff. Like this weekend was for us, a gorgeous stop-and-take-note sky is nothing short of restorative. Hope your weekend was much of the same.
Beth wouldn’t let me buy these. Something about someone who has a sprained ankle, sprained toe and a burn mark from a manicure that morning shouldn’t own shoes this high. Although I zoned her out mid-stream, I also left without these sparklers, sniff, sniff.
I’m going to have to get my sunset picture up somewhere for you to see! It was beautiful…big beams coming out from the sun with pink sky behind! Once again, looks like a fun weekend.
