I’m a little addicted to caffeine. Although I have cut out about 80% of my Diet Coke consumption, it was, of course replaced with the coffee kind of caffeine.
Mystic is no help. He often arrives bearing gifts in the extra large, caffeinated version. Which I do so love.
And Beth is much of the same.
These pictures in this post represent the drinks consumed by us in a 24 hour period this past weekend.
Nine drinks total for each of us.
Augmented by copious amounts of water.
We may or may not know where every bathroom is in Ocean County.
But considering our day started with us leaving the house at 7:30 am on Saturday, I do believe caffeine was the only perfect way to go.
If nothing else, we are exceptionally well-hydrated. And caffeinated. No doubt.

For whatever reason, I seem to be rarely at Costco with both kids. The refrigerated room is Madeline’s favorite section of the store, next to the store-wide sampling and select stuffed animals, of course. She was pretty delighted when Nick volunteered to do superfast laps around the cold room, squealing with glee upon rounding each corner. Life is good. Very, very good.
I LOVE this post. Too funny. I’m in the process of trying to recover from my insane caffeine addiction. Well, really it’s just the Dr Pepper addiction that I’m addressing. The iced chai lattes? Not so much. Gotta have it every morning with breakfast. At least it has milk, right? Get some dairy in there. Tee hee!!! :-)
I certainly cannot LIVE without my daily dose of caffeine…I had about a quarter cup less than my normal amount the other day and I ended up feeling awful. Disastrous. You’ve got a good variety going here. I like.
