My sister asked if I got a commission from all my Pinterest love, and I totally don’t. How I wish! It’s just super addicting once you learn the many different ways you can use it … and it has helped me get rid of files upon files of clippings – now everything I save is virtual! Lord help me if the site ever folds. One day, I’ll do a quick Pinterest tutorial because I know not everyone “gets” the wonderment that is Pinterest, and they should! Hear that, Mom? Tonight’s recipe? A find from Pinterest, of course.
We had a little extra time in the kitchen last night, so I whipped these up in just a few minutes. They are super simple to make, reasonably healthy (if you ignore the stick of melted butter part), and addictingly good. Because they’re small (donut hole size), you can pop them in your mouth and enjoy in one bite. And that’s all good until you realize minutes later that you’ve eaten five. But ’tis the season. Enjoy now, work out later. Everything in moderation.
Not sure if I’ll be back here tomorrow, but if not, will definitely pop in on Friday. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I have tons to be thankful for, and fully intend to count each and every one of my blessings, starting with the two little stinkers waiting for me upstairs.

Maxwell is seriously the most patient dog ever. And he loves baths. Which is awesome ’cause these two want to work for the groomers. Like now.
Why yes, that IS my daughter pouring water on herself, while fully clothed, outside of the bathtub. Gosh, I can’t imagine why the partners in crime used five bath towels to wash the dog. It’s almost worth the money the groomer charges to skip the mess at home, except for the fact that this actually bought nearly 45 minutes of peace and quiet.
With the holiday season upon us, that means the folks at Starbucks have brought back two of my favorite frappuccino flavors. I, for one, hate that they change seasonally, because I’d really like to be able to order them year ’round. Yes, I’m spoiled like that. Caramel Brulee frappuccino. And Peppermint Mocha. Get ’em while you can.
Baked Pumpkin Spice Donut Hole recipe can be found here. I followed the recipe, except I skipped the allspice. My yield was also 36. Tastes fab right out of the oven. You know, after that standard cooling period.
Wheres the recipe?
The link for the recipe is at the bottom of the post.
You forget that while the donut holes MAY contain a stick of butter, they also contain a vegetable. Totally cancel each other out.
happy thanksgiving love! Can’t wait to see you this weekend!
You need to try the Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha. That is all.
Oh, am soooo going to have to make those donut holes! What a fun mini-treat… if I can keep from eating a dozen by myself! lol!
