I am always on the look-out for a new bread to try, and happened upon these garlic-flavored naan packages from Stonefire during the early summer. They have just the tiniest hint of garlic infused into them, and my favorite way for using them is by making flatbread pizzas. Caramelized mushrooms and onions, melted Cambozola cheese, and a smattering of fresh herbs, and it’s seriously, hands down the best homemade lunch ever. Like I could totally eat it every day and not complain a lick. That good. And my girls who love Cambozola will agree.
The day after I last made that overstuffed deliciousness, I happened to get an email from a PR rep who works for … wait for it … Stonefire. I mentioned how much I love their bread, and she mentioned how she’d love to do a giveaway. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. I happen to love how sometimes things are fun and happy in the PR world of random pitches, as opposed to telling you about all the completely off-target pitches I delete on a daily basis. She didn’t need to ask me to tell you how wonderful the bread is ’cause I would have done that anyway. It’s soft, with a nice chew, and stays fresh forever. Especially if it gets buried on your counter amongst all your other bread finds and you discover it some time later. Yep, still good!
So here’s the skinny. Want to win some Stonefire bread of your very own to try out? Here’s how you can get yourself some entries:
- Comment on this post and tell me your favorite go-to lunch. Bonus points if you tell me your favorite Stonefire product, if you’re already a devotee.
- Tweet this post and come back and tell me about it.
- Follow me on Twitter, if you don’t already, and come tell me.
You can do all three of those options if you’d like for extra entries. I know, tough, right? US residents only. Winner will be chosen by random generator. No entries after 7 pm EST on Monday, November 21, 2011 will be considered. Good luck!
And the pizza recipe? Once I find the scrap of paper I wrote it down on, it’s all yours. Swear.
I *will* be back here tomorrow with the Thanksgiving centerpiece idea for you guys – see ya then!
i like PB&J on a bagel for lunch. the PB is crunchy, the J is usually grape.
So…I totally haven’t ever tried Stonefire but I’ve drooled over it many a times in the supermarket! And really, anything covered in Cambozola sounds dreamy.
My favorite go-to lunch…I totally end up making something with eggs, usually an omelet, whenever I don’t know what else to eat.
A bagel thin with homeade veggie cream cheese.
My favorite lunch has always been a tuna fish sandwich!!! Love only solid white albacore tuna on toasted whole wheat with lettuce and a slice of juicy tomato!
We haven’t tried it yet, but I’m sure my hubby would love it! My favorite lunch is leftover grilled chicken or steak on corn tortillas. I usually toss on bbq sauce and lettuce.

And I now follow you too (@MommaStaciA). Thanks!
I’ve had my eye on that bread at the store, but haven’t tried it yet. Will have to now. With melty cambozola, of course. My go-to lunch is a plate with some slices of good cheese (asiago is a fave right now), whisper thin slices of prosciutto, crackers (I have a thing for ones w/rosemary) and fruit. It takes minutes to put together and is so easy to eat on the fly while working.
My favorite lunch is probably a grilled cheese and soup.
My favorite lunch is whatever I can grab quickly in the morning to take to work! Usually leftovers from dinner the night before…
In the fall/winter I reach for soup and some bread. In the summer I eat salads and veggie subs. With this kind of weather in the fall I can’t figure out what I want!
My favorite lunch is a radish sandwich. Love it and would eat it every day if I could. Bread, butter, radishes and salt. I just recently put arugla on it and makes it even better.
Favorite lunch: nachos. But it would surely be nacho pizza on this naan, if that didn’t offend a culture or two:)
I’m a follower… have been for awhile, and love your blog and tweets. thanks for sharing your food and life with us!
Tweeted! From @beautifulwife. But I don’t know how to direct link to the tweet on my phone. My fingers are crossed!
We love the whole-grain Naan in our house. We usually have it with Greek food. We grill it, cut into pieces and dip in tzatiki – sooo good.
My go-to lunch is apple slices w/ pb, cheese stick and whole grain crackers.
