Friday night double date. We saw This Means War. Romance for the girls, a little bit of action for the boys, and laughs for all.
New cookie recipe, pre-bake (coming tomorrow).
Do you see what I see? I think this might be my favorite one yet.
Heart-shaped crackers, courtesy of Sarah, that appeared at our Bloggers’ Valentine’s Feast this weekend.
And mini heart sprinkles, courtesy of Joanne, that I am totally lusting after.
After Saturday night’s dinner, I had a simple craft for the kids to make. Details on that coming this week.
Madeline adores Joanne. I’m pretty sure the feeling is mutual.
Tonight, three of the kids commandeered my kitchen to make a Valentine’s Day dinner for Mystic and I. Super romantic. You know, with all seven of us. I think Madeline’s contribution was her kitchen dance-off.
When I showed Mystic my place from dinner, with this lone piece of bacon, he laughed and just shook his head. Another heart!
And then there was this last one in my ice cream. After dinner, he was scouring web sites doing research on toilets. I know, fun! And there was this diagram with a pair of hooks, where it was showed the inner workings of the tank. I made him scroll back to the diagram so I could take a picture of it. I swear he might have thought I had plum lost my mind when I showed him the heart that the diagram of the hooks had formed.
Will be back tomorrow with the skinny on Chocolate S’More Cookies. Delish.
What a great weekend. The dance would have been great on video :)
I have those heart sprinkles… AC Moore, I think…
Does Maddie ever sit on the couch without a zillion pillows and stuffed animals ??? :-)
Love the maps – great light in there!
A Valantine’s day week filled with love that is so visible on your photos… big like!
Ummm yes the feeling is mutual! More than mutual actually. Her dancing skills are a large part of it. :P
Such an awesome weekend, Cate! Thanks again for hosting. It was perfection as usual. And so heart-full!
I’m so sorrry I had to miss the Blogger Valentine’s get-together! :( I don’t think I would have been such good company after the ER visit for my oldest the night before… luckily, he’s fine, but a very late & stressful night.
I like all those maps on the wall. Neat
we need to talk some more about all those maps…love!
