On Friday, Nick’s school celebrated Read Across America, and parents were invited in to spend an hour reading with their kids.
This is Nick’s desk. He is sometimes a stubborn reader, so I was pretty stoked to see that he’s in the middle of this many books.
I love the lighting in schools. His class recently wrote essays about the Constitution, and he’s standing near the hallway display.
Their art program is amazing, which thrills me because Nick loves art. These pictures are from his grade, but not his (yet).
I haven’t had a grilled cheese in forever, so indulged on Friday. So good. Total comfort food.
I took three of the kids to Costco on Saturday, and we ended up spending some time in the patio chair display, checking out the new books.
I assure you, these two were up to no good.
Saturday night, the kids and I had a movie night picnic in bed.
She spied a cowgirl hat display and modeled each one.
Looks like a great weekend! I so love your weekend photo posts!
Those stripey legs were definitely PERFECT for Dr. Seuss Day.
Great weekend it seems! Can’t wait to see Nick’s art!
