Saw Safe House with friends on Friday night. Decent movie, though I’m not a fan of when they take “movie magic liberties” and don’t connect the dots properly.
We met friends Saturday morning for a mommy and mini-me pedicure.
The women were so good with the girls, measuring Madeline’s feet and cutting the flip-flops to fit her, and giving her friend a shoulder massage.
Scored at the local used book store and got this whole stack for six bucks. A book for Mystic’s oldest son, two for Nick, a bunch for me and Madeline to read together now (we’ve begun the American Girls’ series), and two of my high school favorites for her when she gets older.
I logged 4.5 miles in towards my “25 miles in March” goal this weekend, meeting two friends to do laps.
New headbands and clips going to a local boutique (and coming to my Etsy shop):
I will never, ever get tired of watching the sun set.
One of the friends I worked out with on Saturday brought her 8-week old daughter along. Sofia is clocking in at just under eight pounds. How quickly you forget how tiny they once were.
Mystic and I stayed in Saturday night, complete with homemade pizza and movies.
Your pizza looks great ——- I’m looking for a new pizza pan. Is that one with holes (they say gives crisper crust)?
I know many rave about a pizza stone, but don’t really have the room for it.
I was thinking of trying deep dish pizza in my cast iron skillet this week.
Thx
I hear ya on the pizza stone. A friend gave me one years ago and I never used it, and ended up passing it along during a clean-out-the-kitchen moment. The pan in the picture and that I use all the time is just a regular pizza pan from Wilton (like this one). I use dough from the local pizza place and pre-bake it slightly, then I top with everything, and bake until the cheesy is bubbly. That pizza was GOOD, as evidenced by the lack of leftovers that night. ;)
Can I just say that we have the exact same pizza pan, brown tarnished spots and all? No really, I think they’re identical.
LOVE the American Girls and Flowers for Algernon! Good stuff.
Enjoyed the pictures.
Pizza looks killer.
