Any weekend that kicks off with Friday afternoon cupcakes from a co-worker is bound to be good.
We know three families with autistic children, so when I heard about the 5k to support autism research, it was a no-brainer. Especially when one of the families was participating in the walk.
And if I can convince someone else to get up at 6:30 am to do it with me? Even better.
And then off to Madeline’s soccer practice, and Nick’s.
Saturday night featured eight women in my kitchen for a Girls Night In. Some friends I have known for over 20 years, and some for just a year. The feast? Plentiful. (More details later this week) The topics? As one of my friends put it, intense. The Mom Juice? Flowing. I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard. Love girl time.
The amount of super-sized iced coffees I have plowed through to sustain energy this weekend is insane. But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Hope yours was wonderful as well!
Monday? A children’s book review, and a new favorite of ours.
Tuesday? Pinterest Party recap.
Wednesday? Eat.Live.Be.
Yay for another 5K! And cupcakes! And Girls Night! I’m so sorry I couldn’t make it, but it sounds like you had a great time!
Another 5K? Crazy, woman!! And sounds like your party was a blast. Wish I could have been there.
