Lots of laugh-out-loud moments, buoyed by the company we shared, but there were about thirty minutes in the middle of the movie that probably could have been left on the cutting room floor.

I was nominated to take Mystic’s daughter Senior Prom dress shopping. We scored at the second store, with the third dress she tried on. Dress, shoes, under an hour, and under $100. Score.
Introduced friends to the best place to get calamari. Awesome night.
Mystic’s daughter had to make a three course meal as part of her grade for her Home Ec class. Which, in 2012, is actually called Food and Nutrition. So Mystic and I (and Nick and Maddie) were the lucky recipients of it, as a belated anniversary dinner.
We got to try the cheese steak from this place this weekend. Worth a visit, go get yourself some.

Yes, swear. Not entirely visible, but tasted in nearly every bite. That was Mystic’s and I only wanted one bite. Was really hard to stop.

Good bargain shopping on dress and shoes. Girls are spending like $600 on their dress that that will wear once. Good thing we only have to rent a tux.
