We are nearing the end of our Summer Bucket List 2012, and this drive-in/outdoor movie was a fun one to cross off the list.
It was a perfect way to spend a Friday night during the summer with friends.
Free movie.
Picnic blanket with goodies from home and dinner from Panera.
A new and fun experience for the kids.

Although the outdoor movie season is winding down as the weather gets cooler, do put it on your list for next year. A quick Google search will turn up tons of places that offer free outdoor movies in the summertime (I think we counted five different locations within reasonable driving distance for us). The movies change weekly, and it’s a unique, fun, low-key, inexpensive way to spend some time with your family.
Central Park had a whole week of free movies in the park last week! Unfortunately I couldn’t go but hopefully next year!
