Weekend Photos in Review

Friday night, we had a change of plans, and the kids and I took full advantage and cooked together.

I had a table at a vendor show this weekend and became a little obsessed with this customer’s gorgeous, sparkly gold tote bag. The picture doesn’t do it justice. It has a little zippered matching bag inside, is from Nine West, and she said it was $30 or under. She said she bought it at TJ Maxx, so I will definitely be hunting it down. Do you see what I see?

Love this wreath I spied at Target, but not the accompanying $17 price tag. You could totally make this inexpensively. You just need yarn, the bow, and a wreath form (and theirs was soft, squishy and very cheap).

Target also has a number of new food and drink ornaments that we’ll be adding to our Food and Drink Christmas Tree this year.

PB&J. They also had a grilled cheese sandwich, and a fun grill ornament.

I saw this in a local Italian deli, and it instantly reminded me of something similar I had as a child.

I do so love a good sunset.

I mean, really. Mother Nature sure knows what she’s doing. Almost to the point that we can forgive the hurricane and nor’easter we had within the same week. Almost.

We had a Girls Night In party last night, filled with grown-up beverages, sinfully delicious food, and lots of laughter. Couldn’t think of a better way to spend a Saturday night.

After some really sinful eating last night, I was totally craving a falafel today. Unfortunately, my new favorite falafel joint seems to be undergoing some renovations.

Methinks I need some of this on hand. Because as I was trying to finish a couple of new recipes on Saturday night, I burned my reducing balsamic vinegar drizzle. Oops.

The cutest little sous chef ever. A friend makes these adorable aprons, and Madeline couldn’t wait to put hers on tonight. If you want one for your very own little sous chef, drop me a line and I’ll hook you up.
