Nick had his very last Pinewood Derby race this weekend (he moves up in rank in March, and the other ranks don’t do it anymore), sniff, sniff.
We celebrated afterwards with his favorite soup, the chicken stew from Panera.
The sunset on Saturday night was the most amazing one I’ve seen in a long time. I do hope you got a chance to catch it yourself.
We haven’t been to Sonic since August, but I’ve been doing what I could to ply Madeline with super cold drinks, and their slushes are just what the doctor ordered.
And it was Merry’s first time. I can’t say she was too upset about it when she found out that they served hamburgers.

*wasn’t my favorite, but wasn’t terrible. Definitely has the much thicker consistency of Greek yogurt.
I hope the little one is feeling better!!! Frozen yogurt sounds like just the thing to brighten her spirits.
