Spending our Friday nights with the geniuses at the Genius Bar.
Covering ’em greys and catching up on celeb gossip.
My go-to breakfast during the work week. Toasted whole wheat English muffin, all natural peanut butter, sliced banana, honey drizzle. Deliciously filling and pretty guilt-free.
My weekend go-to breakfast. Mostly egg white scramble stuffed with vegetables.
One of the best places to get spices for cheap? Your local ethnic grocery store. Can’t beat the prices.
On my last birthday, Mystic gave me a gift card for a local camera shop. And then we broke up a little over a month later. It took me forever to decide to use it. My first instinct was to give it back. This weekend I finally put it to use.
Saw Safe Haven last night. Good movie; although it’s a Nicholas Sparks vehicle, it wasn’t overloaded with schmaltz and romantic cheesiness. It concentrated more on the characters, and certain pieces left you guessing until the end. And well, Josh Duhamel? Yes, please. Give me him, with a tattoo, the ability to cook, a sense of humor, and a fierce love of family, and I am in.
Spied a heart (from a wadded up paper napkin) when leaving the movie theater. You know I had to stop and grab a picture.
A very muddy three mile hike with this gorgeous hound today, Bluebell. She is up for adoption at a local rescue, so hard to bring her back to the kennel when we’re done.
This is Cash, also available. He’s a big boy for a hound, and was shivering when I was petting him.
My bi-weekly make-’em-laugh picture for the kiddos while they spent the night with The Ex.
And this is how Merry spent her morning while I was out walking other dogs.
I’ve been eating mushrooms and spinach with scrambled egg on the weekends lately too. Once again, too freaky.
oh that’s too funny! one of my favorite flavor combinations. even better with a little bit of goat cheese.
What are the pink beady things on your froyo? Also, remember the camera shop in Seattle? Made me think of that.

They’re called boba. Those were strawberry ones. We actually spotted blueberry ones this weekend. They’re translucent gummy-like little balls that, once popped in your mouth, ooze out juice. So yummy.
