*how to keep kids entertained while we try to explain to restaurant management how they totally screwed up the check
Apologies for the crappy picture, but do you SEE that? I spied this little charred heart on the back of my bread stick on a darkened movie theater on Saturday night.
Oh hello gorgeous sunset in the reflection! Funny movie. Love her.
This was my bi-weekly “make ’em laugh” picture for the kids while they were with The Ex. Not sure why, but I see a little bit of my Mom in the last picture. I rarely see her in my face, usually it’s my dad, and even then, barely.
This cutie and I did a three mile hike on Saturday afternoon. She’s about a year and a half old and is a real sweetheart. Available for adoption from Eleventh Hour Rescue. She’s a pit bull/shepherd mix and knows quite a few tricks.
Blue cloudless skies on Saturday – beautiful weekend and so glad I got to spend a lot of it outside. Hard to believe that snow picture was from Friday, and on Saturday, it almost hit 60 degrees. That’s New Jersey for you.
This is the before/after from this morning’s 2.25 mile sprint with a friend. Working on breaking in these new sneakers (although I already have my next two pairs picked out) – most comfortable things ever.
After today’s Blue & Gold dinner, Nicholas is officially a Boy Scout. I may or may not have teared up during the slide show presentation. This week, he graduates from the D.A.R.E. program, and in just a few months, he’ll be graduating from 5th grade and will be heading to middle school. Make it stop!
Wow I can’t believe Nick is going to middle school next year…I’ll always picture him as being so much younger! And yay for getting in all that exercise this weekend!

Looks like you had a great weekend! I’ve been wanting to see that movie! Going to the dine-in theater is a fun treat that we keep thinking about sharing with the boys sometime soon – obviously for a different movie though!
